Improvisation is an amazing thing to watch
Live improvisation can be so much fun. It can be fun to watch and fun to participate in. Live improvisation is when a group of people act things out on stage without a script. They may ask the audience for suggestions of characters, settings, and situations. They may also pull ideas out of a hat or bucket. They then have to act out the situation as though they were the characters in the specific setting. They take on the personality of the character and react to the other characters. It can get pretty hilarious to see people try to react on the spur of the moment to other people.
Sometimes live improvisation uses props. There are different types of props that may be used in a scene. Sometimes the people have to come up with uses for crazy props are pretend that the props are specific things such as body parts, types of transportation, or clothing. There was a improvisation group that used piping and a hat in their improvisation on stage. They used the piping to be all kinds of things. They pretended that the hat was a toilet, a seat, a desk, a basket, and a stool. With a creative mind there are so many things that an object can be used for. They turned the piping into a cane for an old man. They used it as a baton for a conductor and a balance beam for an ant. The pretended to be all different animals with the props as well. They acted as though they were kangaroos, elephants, beavers, turtles, and even anteaters. There are some people that are so creative that they can come up with funny things on the spur of the moment. They do not need practice because they are naturally funny. Some people are just born funny.
